Growth Manager

Position Overview

Flourish Online is seeking a Marketing Growth Manager for 1 - 2 days a week to support the founder in:

  • Marketing of the company through outreach, social media and paid advertising.

  • Advising clients on marketing practises and strategies. 

The ideal candidate feels comfortable working in a fast paced environment in a leadership position and is confident making independent decisions that are in the best interest of the company and the client.

what we do:

Flourish Online is a well established Branding and Design agency specialising in the personal brands of authors, speakers and service providers and coaches.  

Our main source of lead generation and revenue is through word of mouth - we want to change this to have a steady stream of leads coming through a combination of organic and paid traffic, and outreach.

Our clients generate leads through similar online mechanisms and require continual marketing and operations support to achieve their goals.

location:

This is an “inhouse” position, and you will be required to work in our Brisbane Studio at least one day a week. Hours and days are flexible.

  • Have direct marketing managament experience and excellent project management skills.

  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with moving parts.

  • Love organizing, completing projects to completion, and documenting processes. 

  • Are a self-starter and motivated to optimize the company for higher efficiency and profitability.

  • Thrive working in a flexible environment.

  • Have experience working for a coach or online education company (Bonus)

  • Feel passionate about helping women build sustainable, flexible and profitable businesses.

  • Prefer to take direction, instead of leading.

  • Dislike giving feedback and directing a team.

  • Have a hard time taking an idea and turning it into a concrete project.

  • Don’t have at least 2-5 years experience in a similar position.

  • Get overwhelmed easily when there’s a lot happening.

  • Prefer creative chaos to structure.

  • Require step by step instructions to do your job.

  • Are risk averse and like to keep things status quo.

more about the role:

The Marketing Growth Manager is a 1 - 2 day a week position that reports directly to the Owner of the company and takes responsibility for the outreach, paid advertising and social media marketing of the company. 

You will be responsible for taking the high-level vision and turning that into actionable projects and plans that support our annual and quarterly goals AND working with clients as a trusted advisor to help them grow their business using the skills of our Dream team. You’ll be responsible for keeping the team on track to meet those goals and will provide leadership, coaching, and corrective actions when needed. The skills of the team will be at your disposal in order to execute your vision.

This position involves working some early evenings or mornings to communicate with overseas team members and clients. 

You’ll need to be an Internet marketing expert, having a good understanding of how online marketing works, including lead magnets, opt-in pages, sales pages, email marketing processes, webinars, Facebook marketing, etc.
